Q. What is Xcyte Mobile?
A. Xcyte Mobile is an exciting wireless product that gives customers Easy Access to becoming a customer along with the freedom and flexibility to make and take calls and text messages, to send and receive emails, to upload and download content and to surf the Internet over our national CDMA calling network. You also have an array of Free features included like Call Waiting, Voicemail, Text Messaging, and Caller ID.

Q. Does Xcyte offer Mobile-to-Mobile or "Family" calling plans?
A. Yes. For only $5.00 added to your service plan, you can talk for up to 1,000 more minutes monthly plan. These minutes can be used to reduce the cost of your conversations with other Xcyte Mobile customers.

Q. Xcyte Mobile advertises "Free Internet Connectivity" or "Access". What does that mean?
A. Our competitors charge anywhere from $5.00 to a minimum of $9.00 per month, just to enable your ability to access the Internet from your phone. On Xcyte, we GIVE your that connectivity at no additional charge. All we require is that you keep a credit card of bank draft on file with our accounting department. Then, all you pay is $0.0012 per KB as you surf the web. This comes to just a little over $6.00 for 5MB worth of surfing. Many of our competitors charge over $14 for that much surfing.

Per minute Airtime rates apply to calls placed and received within the United States Calling Area. Applicable international long distance and directory assistance charges apply.

Q. What else comes with your standard Rate Plans?
A. Xcyte Mobile activates these features Free of charge when you select for one of our monthly service Plans:

  • Text Messaging*
  • Voice Mail (Basic)
  • No Answer/Busy Transfer
  • Call Waiting*
  • Caller ID
  • Call Forwarding*
  • 3 Way Calling*

*Use of features will incur airtime.
Note: All features require a compatible phone.

Q. How do I use my phone?
A. There are three basic but very important things to remember when using your phone:

  1. You account must be current with Xcyte Mobile.
  2. Make sure your phone is turned on and properly charged. (Please see your User Guide for more information on charging your battery.)
  3. You must be in a wireless coverage area. See Coverage Area for more information.

Q. Can Prepaid Long Distance cards be used with this service?
A. Yes. Remember, though, that you will be charged your regular airtime minutes each time you place a call, even if you are using a traditional landline phone card for international calls.
